Have you chosen WWOOFing as an adventure to experience as a couple<\/strong>, with a group of friends, or with family?<\/p>\n\n WWOOFing in pairs or groups can be an enriching experience if your host has adequate space and great pleasure in sharing.<\/p>\n\n As a WWOOFer, however, you must remember that every adult and every youth who is 16 years of age or older must <\/strong>be duly enrolled as a member and have their own personal membership card<\/strong> in order to be covered from a legal and insurance standpoint<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n Anyone who travels with you without being a member of the association cannot be considered a WWOOFer<\/strong> and therefore will not have the legal and insurance coverage of WWOOF Italy<\/strong> to carry out WWOOFing activities in good standing.<\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n\n \u27a1\ufe0fIf you plan to WWOOFing together with another person with 16+ years, when you pay the membership fee you will need to choose the option of “Dual Membership” to add them to your account. <\/strong><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2611\ufe0fOn your shared profile you must indicate both of your first and last names to let the hosts know that you are both regularly registered. Those who sign up to WWOOF Italia do not buy a list of contacts, but become a member and a volunteer of the association and will be able to visit the Educational Centres managed by the host farms.<\/p>\n\n The relationship between Members is equal while respecting the different roles and allowing a smooth exchange in pursuit of the common purpose of “promoting the development of natural agriculture as a lifestyle choice and the dissemination of ideas and practices for a healthy balance between man and nature.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n When you respect the Status and Rules of the Association<\/a>, the legality of your WWOOFing relationship is guaranteed.<\/p>\n\n For this reason, it is important to be in good standing and to keep a copy of the Membership Card on hand to prove adherence to the Membership Covenant to authorities should the need arise and for mutual protection in the relationship between Members.<\/p>\n\n It may happen that in the middle of the stay at a Host’s, that the authorities carry out a control of regularity on the farm.<\/p>\n\n Be prepared to be able to demonstrate your membership in WWOOF Italy APS by appropriately describing its purpose.<\/p>\n\nInsights<\/h2>\n\n
