class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The European Commission, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) have failed in their obligation to protect European citizens and the environment by not adhering to EU legislation and case law on pesticide regulation and the precautionary principle .<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The European Commission reapproved glyphosate for 10 years despite an impressive body of scientific evidence pointing to its toxicity to human health and the environment.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ISDE Italy supports the initiative of the consortium of six <strong>NGOs-PAN Europe, ClientEarth (EU), G\u00e9n\u00e9rations Futures (France), GLOBAL 2000 (Austria), PAN Germany, and PAN Netherlands-which <\/strong>has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pan-europe.info\/press-releases\/2024\/01\/ngos-initiate-legal-challenge-against-eu-glyphosate-re-approval\">officially launched<\/a> a legal complaint<\/p>\n\n<div
