These are dark times. We are certainly concerned first and foremost with the climate catastrophes that put vast territories in crisis by bringing to light the hemiform fragilities caused by a misunderstood sense of progress and development, but we cannot underestimate the tailspin of a system that does not give up and does everything in its power to turn on what remains of “edible” from the standpoint of speculation and monopolistic centralization of the economy. <\/p>\n\n

This campaign, an initiative of the Crossroads International Center and relaunched by Terra Nuova, should be supported and spread to awaken the sleepy consciences of local administrators, who are increasingly being reduced to scapegoats for misguided policies that have little to do with the welfare of the territories they administer .<\/p>\n\n

Planned trials<\/a> of the new GMOs, in defiance of European regulations (the Italian one was scrapped recently), would also affect organic farms and thus closely touch our movement. <\/p>\n\n
