Also for 2026, the <strong>&#8220;72 Hours for Biodiversity&#8221;<\/strong> festival is confirmed as a must-attend event for those who want to celebrate and protect our natural and agricultural heritage. <\/p>\n\n<p>Organized by <strong>Rural Seeds Network ETS<\/strong> with the collaboration of WWOOF Italy and numerous local entities, the event will enliven the city on two key dates: <strong>May 20<\/strong> (National Day of Biodiversity of Agricultural and Food Interest) and <strong>May 22<\/strong> (World Biodiversity Day).<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dates to mark in your diary<\/h3>\n\n<p>This year the beating heart of the festival will be concentrated on the days of: <strong>May 22, 23 and 24, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to expect in this edition<\/h3>\n\n<p>As always, the program will be very rich and distributed in the symbolic places of local biodiversity, from the <strong>Acciaiolo Castle Park<\/strong> to the <strong>Gardens of Diversity<\/strong> and the <strong>House of Agrobiodiversity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-medium is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"208\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/org.wwoof.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/72ore_2025-208x300.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22327\" style=\"width:auto;height:270px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Here is a taste of what you will find:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hands-on workshops:<\/strong> for young and old to learn about seeds and sustainable growing techniques.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diversity Farmers&#8217; Market:<\/strong> a showcase for local organic producers and artisans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Debates and Conferences:<\/strong> meetings with experts to reflect on the challenges of climate change and the importance of free seeds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Convivial moments:<\/strong> social lunches, concerts and theater performances to celebrate the earth in celebration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why participate?<\/h3>\n\n<p>&#8220;72 Hours for Biodiversity&#8221; is not just a festival, but a unique opportunity to understand how our daily choices &#8211; starting with what we decide to put on our plates &#8211; can make a difference to the well-being of the planet.
