Starting June 15, 2026, you\u2019ll find some important new features<\/strong> in your WWOOF profile designed to make it easier to organize and manage your stays, keep your Archive organized, and facilitate communication with hosts. Below, we explain the new features and how to use them.<\/p>\n\n

A new section for visits<\/mark><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Until now, conversations in your inbox were sorted by the date of the last message exchanged: this could make it difficult to quickly spot an upcoming visit, especially when the conversation had started many months earlier.To address this issue, we\u2019ve added a new section dedicated to visits<\/strong> on your profile, where all confirmed visits will be organized in chronological order<\/strong> . To access it, simply go to your profile and click the \u201cVisits\u201d icon in the top right corner .<\/strong> This will open a page where you\u2019ll find: <\/p>\n\n

  • upcoming visits<\/strong>, sorted by start date;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • the archive of past visits<\/strong>, which can be viewed at any time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    A separate page for each visit<\/mark><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

    From now on, every confirmed visit<\/strong> will have its own summary page that brings together all the most important information in one place.<\/p>\n\n

    Clicking on the visit you’d like to view will open the corresponding page, where you can:<\/p>\n\n

    • view the host’s profile<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • send messages<\/strong> to the host;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • use the host’s phone number<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • view the address<\/strong> and get directions to the farm;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • add the visit to your personal calendar<\/strong> (Google or other);<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • change the visit dates<\/strong> or cancel the request;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • contact the WWOOF staff if needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

      Sharing phone numbers<\/mark><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

      When you confirm a visit, your phone number and your host\u2019s phone number will automatically be shared on the visit details page.This feature is currently set to \u201con\u201d by default, but you can change it at any time by clicking the \u201cSettings\u201d icon on your profile and unchecking the box next to \u201cShare my phone number when a visit is confirmed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

      Here’s a tip!<\/strong>To avoid any issues, please make sure the phone number in your profile is correct and includes the international dialing code, which you can select from the drop-down menu (for example, +39 for Italy).<\/p>\n\n

      For now, these updates are only<\/strong> available on the website<\/strong>, but we\u2019ll let you know as soon as they\u2019re available on the app too. In the meantime, we hope that organizing a WWOOFing experience will be even easier and more enjoyable for you from now on! <\/p>\n\n
