Until October 15th<\/strong>\u00a0there is no obligation for hosts to apply for the Green Pass.<\/p> \n

The need for the Green Pass remains for those who travel by extra-regional public transport.\u00a0<\/div><\/p>\n\n

As of 15 October and until the 31\u00a0<\/strong>December<\/b>, hosts running a farm will, unless there are last-minute indications, be counted among those employers who should require the certificate from their employees, collaborators or volunteers.\u00a0There will be no obligation<\/strong> for those hosts who do not have an agricultural VAT number but who host wwoofers in a rural residence.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

There remains a bit of a conceptual limbo<\/strong> with regard to those hosts who, despite having a VAT number, run an individual or family business. Our legal advisor would advise a prudent approach to the request for a certificate.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Be aware that the law allows for random checks.It is advisable not to request or to retain a copy of the wwoofer’s or worker’s green pass, but to use the \u201cVerificaC19\u201d <\/a>\u00a0application that can be downloaded to your cell phone for verification.\u00a0<\/p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

For non-European volunteers the validity of the pass cannot be verified with the above application as there are different rules for each country of origin (e.g. for citizens of Japan, Canada and the United States the validity of the pass issued in their country has been recognised only under certain conditions).Consequently, for wwoofers coming from non-European countries we suggest you consult the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health in the section Covid-19 \u2013 Travellers<\/a>.<\/p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

In these circumstances establishing a clear agreement between host and WWOOFer is even more important!<\/p>\n\n
