The \u2018<\/span>AGROMIX Summit: Agroforestry for the future of European Agriculture<\/span><\/b>\u2019 aims to facilitate and incentivise the adoption of <\/span>Mixed Farming <\/span><\/b>and <\/span>Agroforestry<\/span><\/b> systems<\/span><\/b> under EU legislation. The one-day event will provide a stage for an in-depth exchange between\u202f<\/span>policymakers<\/span><\/b>,<\/span> farmers<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>researchers <\/span><\/b>that seeks to explore\u202fagroecological solutions\u202ffor more\u202fresilient land use in Europe as well as the development of tools to implement these practices.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The summit will include speakers from hosts\u00a0Agroecology Europe<\/strong>,\u00a0the EU Commission’s DG Agri<\/strong>, the European Agroforestry Federation<\/strong>, as well as representatives of the agriculture industry<\/strong> and many more.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the day, summit activities including presentations from notable speakers, a World Cafe<\/strong> session, a high-level panel debate<\/strong> and a Q&A session<\/strong> will seek to build connections and close the gaps between policymaking and the implementation of agroforestry practices at European and national level.<\/span><\/p>\n
