Pollinating Insects – online training for farmers
In recent months, LIFE4Pollinators project researchers have had the opportunity to meet farmers from Emilia Romagna, Veneto and Puglia for online training events dedicated to sustainable agriculture. Registration is now open for the ‘last farmer training course organized by our project!
This time the course is dedicated to farmers from all over Italy who are passionate about the protection of pollinating insects, but not only; it is also an excellent opportunity for those who have a farm and are concerned about it being durable and environmentally friendly or want to learn more about bees, hoverflies and butterflies.
Why is it necessary to defend these insects? What are the most pollinator-friendly agricultural practices? We will discuss this with experts from the Department of Agri-Food Science and Technology (DISTAL) at the University of Bologna and CREA Agriculture and Environment in Bologna! The course is free, not in-person but can only be followed remotely, and anyone interested can participate.
A certificate of attendance will be provided to those who request it.
