An opportunity to discuss and address together the challenges of the transition to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture!

WWOOF Italy, in synergy with all other promoting organizations is pleased to invite you on Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9, 2025, to the conference entitled ” The Challenges of Agroecological Transition: Strategic Alliances for Change,” as part of the event planned at the conclusion of the project “CHalleNGE – Call to Action for Local and National Agroecological Change, promoted by Nuove Generazioni Ecologiste” co-funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and implemented by a partnership composed of DEAFAL (lead partner), ACRA, Mani Tese ETS, Terra Nuova, Open Impact, WWOOF, Reattiva and Altreconomia. The event is sponsored by the Lombardy Region and the City of Milan.

The day of May 7 will be closed to the public and reserved for the project partnership.

The conference on May 8 and 9, on the other hand, will be open to the public and will be held in Milan, at Spazio MOSSO, via Angelo Mosso 3: we will have the opportunity to discuss the topic of agroecological transition starting with the results of the aforementioned project and the work of the Azione TerrAE coalition, both in the context of international cooperation and in the context of local development.

In addition, several best practices implemented both in Italy and abroad, which were mapped out during the course of the project, will be presented.

The work will also take place through thematic and comparison tables in order to build common perspectives and future alliances.
