🌱 Sowing the Future: From March 17 to 30, you can participate in the Campaign 🌻

Is there a more revolutionary gesture than putting a seed in the ground? Doing it together with hundreds of other people, guardians of biodiversity throughout Italy.

Once again this year, Rural Seeds Network is launching its Spring 2026 Seeding Campaign, and we at WWOOF Italy can only invite our members to get their hands dirty!

✨ What is it about?

The Seed Campaign is not just a seed purchase, but an act of participatory research. By receiving seeds or seed mixtures (such as those from evolutionary populations), each farmer or enthusiast becomes a key piece in safeguarding local varieties and adapting to climate change.

🚜 Why participate as a WWOOFer or Host?

• For Hosts: This is an opportunity to enrich their fields with seeds that carry with them a unique history and resilience.
• For WWOOFers: It’s an incredible learning opportunity: seeing how a diverse population grows is an agronomy lesson not found in books.
• For the Network: The more we sow, the more the seeds learn to adapt to different climates and territories in Italy.

The campaign offers different options, from grain mixtures to horticultural varieties, designed for those who want to break away from industrial standardization and rediscover the flavors and scents of the real earth.
