The Autumn Sowing Campaign “Let’s Cultivate Diversity!” will be open

From October 5 to October 18, 2026.

Once again this year, Rete Semi Rurali has launched its Autumn sowing campaign, a valuable opportunity to become part of the effort to conserve and propagate local and traditional varieties.

Why participate?

Sowin rural varieties and dynamic populations means restoring resilience to our soils, combating the loss of agrobiodiversity, and reclaiming farmers’ knowledge. Cultivating these seeds means engaging in participatory research: observing how plants adapt to the local environment, the climate, and agroecological farming methods.

How does the campaign work?

Through this campaign, you can request the autumn seed mixtures and varieties provided by Rete Semi Rurali to plant in your gardens and fields.

The steps to sign up are simple:

1. Choose your varieties: Visit the dedicated page to see what’s available this season.
2. Submit your request: Fill out the online form, indicating your preferences and the type of soil you’ll be farming on.
3. Plant and Share: Once you receive the seeds, take care of them, watch them grow, and become part of the network.
