Starting Oct. 30, “Generation Earth,” ISMEA’s funding dedicated to young people, returns.

Generation Earth finances 100 percent of the purchase price of land by young people up to 41 years of age who intend to expand the area of their farm or start an entrepreneurial venture in agriculture, as the head of the farm.

The measure is aimed at encouraging the development and consolidation of land conducted as part of an agricultural entrepreneurial activity or the start-up of a new agricultural enterprise through the purchase of land. Three categories of young people are eligible:

1. Young agricultural entrepreneurs
2. Young startuppers with experience
3. Young startuppers with titles
