Water at the center: an Erasmus+ adventure between Regenerative Hydrology and Permaculture

by | May 8, 2026 | Classifieds, from our networks

As you know, the central theme we have chosen for our Gathering 2026 is Water. Precisely because we want to delve deeper into this vital resource, we are happy to point you to an Erasmus+ project that seems a natural continuation of our reflections: “The Drop of Water.”

What is “The Drop of Water?”

It is a 12-day educational journey focusing on land regeneration and the link between man and nature. The program delves into topics that are the beating heart of the agriculture of the future:

  • Regenerative hydrology: studying water cycles and how to manage them to regenerate ecosystems.
  • Permaculture design: to create resilient and abundant landscapes.
  • Inner ecology: personal growth as the basis for conscious collective action.

Where and when?

The experience will be held June 1-12, 2026 at the Lou Neïssoun eco-project in La Tour, France. Imagine twenty hectares of forest, lightweight ecological structures powered by a pure spring, and breathtaking mountain views-the perfect place to experience autonomy and community living.

To whom is it addressed?

The project is open to young people between the ages of 18 and 30. The profiles sought are:

  1. People active in associations, eco-villages or NGOs engaged in land resilience.
  2. Anyone interested in innovative methods of water and land management.

Why participate?

In addition to learning from permaculture experts such as the team at PermaLab , you will have the opportunity to connect with young people from all over Europe, including the Italian partners of the Italian Network of Ecological Villages(RIVE). This is a valuable opportunity to bring technical water expertise to your farms and communities.

📝 How to Apply

  • Dates: Arrival May 31, departure June 13, 2026.
  • Cost: The project is funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.
  • Registration: You can apply via this link to the official form.
