We meet for WWOOF
from September 25 to 28.

at Casa San Francesco, in Brittoli (PE).

We look forward to seeing you at the WWOOF meeting September 25-28 in Brittoli (PE): all members who want to participate actively and continuously in the running of the association are invited. You will be able to join a group that is consolidating in intentions and practices

The fall meeting of WWOOF Italy moves to the south, trying as always to involve even the most marginal territories. We will come to the end of a long work begun last year at Rosmarino, to redefine the figure of the coordinator: an active member on whom the association knows it can count in the management on the territories. But, in addition to the inevitable moments of conviviality, we will try to look up and discuss not only issues strictly related to WWOOF but also more general problems related to the agricultural world: in this certainly the presence of Salvatore Ceccarelli will be of great help.

For those who would like to bring their own products to exchange or sell, there will be a dedicated space for the duration of the gathering. Bring, as always, sleeping bags or sheets. If you can, it would be best not to bring dogs: if not, let us know and we will see if we can arrange it. We are looking for someone to help in the kitchen: if you want to join the group, you are welcome!

Thursday

  • 9:30 A.M. : Community Council
  • 3:00 p.m.: visiting our members Francesca and Christopher, from the Rural Resilience farm: discussion on creating a garden with low irrigation water use.

Friday

  • 9:30 a.m. Council community: all coordinators who wish to participate as observers are welcome

  • 3 p.m. Coordinators’ Circle: Space dedicated to active members of the association

Saturday

  • 9:30 a.m. Open space: a time to explore themes that emerged in previous days or bring in new ones
  • 3 p.m. MEETING WITH SALVATORE CECCARELLI: ” Meeting with Salvatore Ceccarelli and Stefania Grando: we will talk about the role of TEAs in agriculture and who owns them, low water demand plants, and then…room for questions!
  • 9 PM: MUSIC WITH: LU BLUES!
