Organic Soya Farming with Animal Traction
The meeting will have a practical approach, as part of the COPASUDI project, which is aimed at the adoption in Piedmont, through cultivation, processing and use, of a soya population with low anti-nutritional factors, in an organic regime.
PROGRAMME (temporary):
9 a.m. welcoming and registration of participants
9.30 a.m. presentation of the project of the day’s activities
o10 a.m. field visit to the soybean plots
soybean fields
12 noon presentation of tools used for cultivation
1 p.m. lunch(1)
3 p.m. visit to the farm’s herds
4 p.m. presentation of the equipment used with animal traction
5 p.m. discussion of agronomic problems in soya cultivation using organic techniques by Prof. Miceli of the University of Udine
6.30 p.m. closing remarks
