Scandicci comes alive for the new edition of “72 Hours for Biodiversity,” an unmissable event dedicated to celebrating and protecting our natural and agricultural heritage.

Organized by Rete Semi Rurali ETS with the patronage of the City of Scandicci and the collaboration of numerous local entities, this festival will transform the municipality-from the Acciaiolo Castle Park to the Gardens of Diversity, from the House of Agrobiodiversity to Resistance Square-into lively centers of meeting, learning and fun for all ages.

On May 22, 24 and 25, you can participate in a rich program of activities designed to bring young and old closer to the world of biodiversity.
You’ll find hands-on workshops, enlightening discussions with experts in the field, inspiring book presentations, a lively marketplace featuring organic and artisanal products, engaging concerts and performances, lectures, convivial times, and much more.

“72 Hours for Biodiversity” is a unique opportunity to reflect on the fundamental importance of biological diversity for our well-being and that of the planet. It is an invitation to learn more about agrobiodiversity, discover sustainable practices and understand how our daily choices, starting with what we eat, can make a difference.
