Hello everyone, I am Katia D’Apostolo and I live in Accumoli, a small village between the Laga Mountains and Gran Sasso, in the province of Rieti.

I am an agricultural entrepreneur and I have been working for years to repopulate and revive my land, because I truly believe: life is still possible here.

I know, for many villages in the Apennines, people only talk about earthquake and abandonment. But I see another truth every day: here we are reborn. Slowly, with effort, but it is really being reborn.

In Accumoli today:

– you live with little but good, no stress and no noise

– you eat real, thanks to local agriculture and genuine products

– there is clean air, nature everywhere, and healing silences

– there is work for the willing, especially in agriculture, construction, tourism and crafts

– Homes are coming back, reconstruction goes on

– we are creating opportunities for new families and young couples

– parental schooling, free and community education is also possible here

– Those who arrive are welcomed, not judged

And now I say it clearly: Accumoli is looking for new people.

We are looking for families who want to change their lives, young people who want to build instead of run away, people who are tired of the city and the endless rush, but also foreigners who are ready to live here with us, integrate and contribute to the life of the country.

There is room for ideas, arms, projects and new energy here.

We have gone through difficult years, it is true. But today we are not a place to pity, we are a place to choose.
