The relationship of collaboration and dialogue between WWOOF Italy and Armonie Animali, which has been in place for a few years now, continues to produce concrete opportunities, such as the Let’s educate ourselves on living with our dogs course.

Animal Harmonies is an association formed by veterinarians and animal welfare practitioners that aims to seek new balances between humans and animals using a holistic approach.
WWOOF Italy has already supported the 2023 edition of the Permaculture Design Course, especially appreciating the course’s focus on coexistence with the Animal Kingdom, the role of animals in family, agricultural and environmental systems, and the creation of appropriate habitats for collective human-animal well-being.

Another great value of this course, which is held in the province of Forlì at Borgo Basino (moreover a WWOOF host), is the care given to neighborly relationships, aimed at fostering the strengthening of the local community.

Application requirements:

• All socɜ of WWOOF Italia APS (socɜ ordinarɜ, Host and WWOOFer) domiciled in the provinces of Ravenna, Forlì-Cesena and Rimini and socɜ WWOOFer domiciled in the province of Bologna are eligible to participate in the call for applications
• For candidacy to be valid, socɜ must be already registered in the membership book and in good standing at the time of sending this email
• You must submit your application by filling out the form available below.
• It will be possible to submit your application until 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, 2024
• The application must contain the sociə candidatə’s First Name, Last Name and home address, as well as a brief motivational text no shorter than 1200 characters and no longer than 2400 characters.

The assigneeə of the scholarship will be chosen at the sole discretion of the Board of WWOOF Italy APS from the valid applications and on the basis of the motivational texts. The result will be announced between Monday, January 22 and Friday, January 26, 2024.
The board reserves the right not to award the scholarship if it finds that none of the applications received present acceptable reasons.

The scholarship is €650, equal to the cost for one participant, which will be donated directly to Armonie Animali.
Finally, the granteeə of the scholarship must associate with Animal Harmony. The membership fee is included in the scholarship.
Travel and accommodation costs, however, are excluded.
