Small farm in Lazio seeks inhabitants

Renzo wanted to join WWOOF Italy as a host. When we spoke about it we realised that his search for collaboration was a bit different and we agreed to publish this small announcement.

“I would be happy to share agro-biological and permaculture experiences with one or more people, who could co-cultivate (preferably continuously but also for a season) my small property in the province of Rome, an hour by train or bus from the city. Land with small houses, it is a small farm: garden, vegetable garden, herbs, fruit, small animals. I am planting a forest in a part of the land. I would be happy to host someone interested in plants and living in harmony with nature.
I only go there on weekends and in holiday periods, so whoever lives there will be independent; they will have a small house to live in.

There is the opportunity to harvest good fruit through regular maintenance of the garden and orchard (planting, cleaning, cutting, composting, burning…) and animals (checking, feeding, harvesting, eggs…), processing food such as canning or freezing vegetables, the usual cleaning of the house and surroundings (from leaves etc.), building a bonfire and so on.”
