Nominations for the Board of Arbitrators

by | Apr 30, 2022 | Associative life

In the last few hours, the proposals of two new candidates has arrived, who would flank the ‘historic’ Lamberto Soldatini. The assembly is therefore called upon to decide whether it wants a single-member Board or a Board of Arbitrators consisting of three members.

Below you may read the letter of introduction that Lamberto, Elisabetta and Dino sent us as motivation for their candidature:

The Board of Arbitrator’s institutional tasks include monitoring the work of the Council and the Association in order to verify that it meets its social aims and objectives, and providing guidelines and recommendations.

Up to now, the Board has been monocratic with the sole presence of Lamberto Soldatini, but its function can be more extensive and incisive if two more people are added.

For the verification and election of the Board of Arbitrators by the forthcoming Annual Meeting, here are the nominations ofDino Chiaraviglio and Elisabetta Monti e And Lamberto’s commitment, if there is no one to succeed him
The candidates undertake to collaborate for the continuation and further growth of the Association, in accordance with its statutory purposes and with the mutual respect and acceptance that have always characterised it.

Elisabetta has been a WWOOF member since 1999 and is the coordinator of the Trento area.
Dino has been a member of WWOOF since 2007, has served on the Board for two terms and has also acted as coordinator.
Lamberto has been a member of WWOOF since this year and has been an Arbitrator since 2014.
