At the end of an experience with a Host, it can be nice to leave a comment to gratify them but also to give insights to future WWOOFers about the positivity of the experience or a possible difficulty.
The WWOOF platform has its own ethics.
Public reviews to be effective and respect the spirit of association must be neutral and not offensive in any way.
No need to dwell on details, especially if you express your disappointment.
To report particularly bad experiences, it is best to write directly to staff@wwoof.it or in an emergency call 351 0810820.
The staff will provide initial support and inform the Board so that it can provide for the implementation of the protocol outlined in WWOOF Italia’s internal rules.

“I personally would not recommend Somebody or this farm for your wwoof experience. Somebody was not particularly nice and was offended when I wouldn’t eat anchovies with onions even though I had made it clear to her that I don’t like fish and can’t digest onions. I finally wanted to out of courtesy have a taste but felt bad. I did not learn much about agriculture and the town has little or nothing to offer people visiting. The accommodations were unwelcoming, hot, lacking air conditioning or even a simple fan, which I later bought in town, after an hour’s walk, without solving the problem. I would not recommend it at all.”
It definitely becomes more correct and effective if only a few sentences are saved

It is more than enough for the next WWOOFer who wishes to have an experience at Somebody’s place to try to better clarify what his or her motivations and expectations are and at the same time to learn more about the organization of the days and hosting.
The other information is useful if you think it is appropriate for the association to establish a dialogue with Somebody to avoid a repetition of the same problems in other situations.
In this case you have two options:
- Use the “private” space of the review so that the staff can take note and act accordingly if necessary
2. write to staff from the direct message space at the office or via email at staff@wwoof.it
The second method is useful for establishing a more direct dialogue with staff.
