Fundraiser: Scholarships for trainers in Permaculture

This campaign will raise funds to cover scholarships and travel expenses for nine extraordinary Middle East change activists (five from Palestine, two from Lebanon and one from Syria) and one person from France to attend Permaculture Teacher Training with Focus on Refugees (PTT4R) in Catalonia, Spain in November 2024.

The Permaculture for Refugees (P4R) network aims to support refugees in situations of oppression in transforming the places in which they live-whether refugee camps or sites in host countries-into productive permaculture-designed communities and, ultimately, to equip refugees and change agents with the knowledge, network and tools they need to build an inclusive, resilient and welcoming society. P4R uses the term refugee “interchangeably with asylum seekers, forced migrants, internally displaced persons, and stateless persons.”
