Through useful tools for educational innovation, this course for secondary school teachers in 1st and 2nd grade will explore environmental and sustainability issues, with a special focus on Agroecology and the six pillars of agroecological transition.
The proposed activities aim to understand how one’s daily behaviors are interconnected with one’s surroundings, with the goal of becoming advocates and promoters of change and for a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable society. The themes will be contextualized in the context of Agenda 2030 and Civic Education.
Upon completion of this course, each teacher will be able to:
- Explain and create educational content
on the 2030 Agenda and education for
global citizenship; - Explain the basic concepts and the six
pillars of Agroecology; - Use innovative teaching tools
within its
education proposal
civics; - Create educational activities related
to Agroecology and agroecological transition
agroecology; - Support their classes in
developing critical thinking about
global environmental dynamics.
Participants:
course is open to 1st and 2nd grade school teachers from all over Italy in any discipline. The course is intended
also open to educators and classroom support educators.

1 introductory meeting and 3 online meetings , accompanied by individual tutorials and insights on
