Over the past year, FoWO’s small but well-trained team of developers has worked hard to create something new: the WWOOF app, the first of its kind and free for all WWOOF members! Made with love for the WWOOF community, it is designed to make it easier than ever for members to connect: not only between hosts and WWOOFers, but also between fellow WWOOFers eager to share their WWOOF experience.
For the first time, WWOOFers can search and connect with hosts in more than 100 countries of the Federation of WWOOF Organizations within a single app. There is no more need to go from one national website to another: the map shows all hosts and the inbox collects all conversations from each country.
Don’t worry: WWOOF Italy’s website is still fully active. Everything stays synchronized: if you send a message on the website, you will immediately see it in the app (and vice versa). All your messages remain private and securely synchronized. If you prefer to continue to use only the website, nothing changes for you; you can continue to write and receive messages exactly as you have done until now, no need to download and use the app at all.
👉Some notes:
This is our first community release – a baby app! A few bugs might sneak through, so we’d love to hear your feedback via the contact form inside the app. Your input helps shape its future.

For now, individual WWOOF memberships still need to be purchased on the website. Membership sign-ups are not yet available in the app.
