DAM, on the shore of Lake Salto, not far from the Salto Dam, is a seasonal trattoria-wine bar with a dedicated outdoor space for tents, deck chairs and umbrellas on the, lakeshore. A few miles away we have a one-acre vineyard in production plus other land to be put into cultivation, and an apartment that can become an accommodation facility. Open for three summers, DAM is based on the pleasure of sharing good food and natural wine, creating a small community made up of encounters, ideas and relationships. DAM is a place with a soul, which we want to grow. We believe in cooperation, shared values and a more humane, sustainable and circular model of living and working. We believe in the added value of small communities. As part of a sustainable growth and development phase, we are working to evolve DAM in a concrete and structured way, expanding its role, functions and impact on the territory. The goal is to grow stronger, more alive and more central to our social, cultural and receptive dimensions. If you feel that this place can also become your space, if you have an idea that has been rattling around in your head for years or a project that is just waiting for an opportunity to get going, this may be the right time and context for you. WE

We are Pino and Carla: a retired cook (more or less) and an architect. We live between Belgium and Lake Salto, in the heart of the central Apennines, where we are developing a project that combines hospitality, territory, food and wine, creativity and exchange of experiences.

We are constantly moving between the Be Dam project in Belgium, created around Italian cuisine with catering and takeaway services, and the Enoteca Dam project in Italy.
