In Milan, the friends at Cascina Sella Nuova (as part of the NaturalMente project) are asking themselves exactly these questions. Their goal is ambitious and wonderful: to create Milan’s first cultural space dedicated to sustainability, and they want to do it together with all the city’s residents!

In the coming months, the farmhouse will host a full-fledged public workshop-museum. It will serve as a gathering place to promote ecological knowledge, foster social awareness, and share responsible practices and choices on crucial issues such as consumption, climate, biodiversity, resources, circularity, health, and inequality.

How to Participate and Make a Contribution

There are several ways to get involved in the project (you have until the end of December 2026):

2. If you teach at a school: You can co-create a customized learning path for your students.
3. If you’re part of an active group: If you’re involved in environmental issues, you can volunteer to lead a hands-on or theoretical workshop.
4. If you are part of a public agency or organization: You can sign up to participate in the consultation group with the museum-laboratory’s Scientific Committee.
