When Irene, who had recently become a host, contacted us to propose that we organize this event together, there was no doubt that the themes she had in mind were the same ones WWOOF has been promoting for years. Then, as you can see, the program has become extremely rich, and we’re glad that WWOOF can also be there to contribute. We’ll be there with an information booth to introduce the association to those who aren’t yet familiar with it, and our member Enrico Bocchi (the driving force behind the Seminasiepi project) will offer some practical suggestions on how we can, right here and now, sow the seeds of the future: by propagating wild species from seed, for example. Together with Claudio Pozzi (who founded WWOOF Italy), we’ll then take a journey through the long process that begins with the seed and ends on our tables.

But, in reality, our paths have already crossed with nearly all the participants in the conferences and thematic roundtables—a sign that the network is growing denser, and we hope it will attract more and more attention.
