Sustainable EU Food System – Let’s Have Our Say!

In the context of the European Green Deal, the European Commission has adopted a global Farm to Fork strategy that recognises the strong links between healthy people, healthy societies and a healthy planet and aims to comprehensively address the challenges of sustainable food systems. To drive the transition to a sustainable food system, the Farm to Fork strategy has launched several actions including an initiative for a horizontal framework law to accelerate and facilitate the transition to sustainability and ensure that food placed on the EU market becomes increasingly sustainable. To this end, the Commission launched a broad consultation process to gather views and input from all stakeholders.
