Aostan and Piedmontese WWOOF communities meet.

Record-breaking July 2023 for the WWOOF community between Piedmont and Aosta Valley!!!

Never before had three local communities in the same area organized to call together the network of Members (and beyond) for moments of festive sharing.

Little gems of imagination from Members inviting participation in occasions very different from one another, each rich in passions and the desire to share them. Great times to meet other Members, people who live nearby, or who come to attend the Festival! Lots of music, products, toasts and dancing to forge friendships and fruitful, enjoyable relationships in the spirit of WWOOFing (and more).

Last Saturday, July 8, opened the series of events the Terre del Blues market day in Borgiallo:

“a side project of the Borgiallo Blues Festival held annually in Borgiallo (TO) on the second Saturday in July.
This year we would like to give this market a social slant as well, creating moments of “free cultural exchange ” among participants and between participants and the public.”

Elena and Giorgio host at La Cantella, the day’s facilitators, tell us.

at the end of this week , on the 15th, it is Stefano & Stefano who invite Members to break out the dancing in Costigliole d’Asti

“With the wwoofer party we want to connect volunteers and hosts in a different context. The agricultural practices, rural knowledge the desire for community that move the girls and boys of the association on a daily basis mix and unite in a time of celebration between volunteers and people from the villages where the farmsteads are located. It is a celebration an exchange an encounter a way to get out of the daily farming routine. Dancing, jumping and sweating together is an aspect that makes you enter even more into a community and above all it is a chance to live this magnificent experience from a different point of view.”

The last event is scheduled for the 28th at the initiative of Beatrice and the Laughing Earth Collective: a new Festive and Market opportunity dedicated to Members.

“Friday, July 28 at the Laughing Earth Collective marketplace, WWOOF party!
From h 5 p.m. onwards, at the Sant’Orso vegetable garden, in addition to the usual market, we invite all wwoof companies and wwoofers present at this time in the Valley (but not only) to a festive gathering. Around 5 p.m. there will be an explanation of what the association is, and then a short discussion where anyone who wants can talk about their experience, whether they are a company or a volunteer member.
It will feature live raggae music, 🌈a beer and pizza appetizer, and gin.
Guest companies if they want to participate in the market, bring banquet and products are welcome!”
