‘Trained Protected Areas Operator’ course kicks off.

Organized by Parks and Reserves(www.parchieriserve.org) as part of Federparchi National System activities, the course is an educational opportunity for those who wish to pursue a career in conservation, enhancement and environmental protection.

The educational program consists of 8 training days with qualified lecturers, and ranges from the role and functions of the park ranger to environmental communication, from notions of judicial and administrative policing to wildlife management of ungulate populations. Special attention will be paid to climate change and the transformation of the alpine environment.

The course also offers the possibility of an experimental week in the different operational areas of a park authority at the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park or the Casentino Forest National Park.
