Dear WWOOFer and Host, there is a special invitation coming from the hills of Florence: the launch of the new edition of Corto Botanico!
If you love independent cinema, good food and biodiversity, mark this date: Thursday, March 5, at the People’s House in Settignano.
What is it all about?
Corto Botanico is a creative challenge that unites filmmakers and the plant world. To kick off the 2026 edition, a self-funding evening has been organized that promises to nourish both the body and the imagination.
Here’s what to expect during the evening:
- Self-Funding Dinner: A special menu inspired by a local plant that is decidedly… RESISTANT! (Curious to find out which one it is? 👀)
- Screenings: We will review together the films that came out of the first edition of the festival.
- Creative Space: You can actively participate by proposing special clues that will be assigned to this year’s filmmakers for their works.
Why participate?
Supporting initiatives like Corto Botanico means giving voice to fresh narratives about our relationship with nature. It is a perfect opportunity to meet other network members in a convivial setting and support culture from below.
📍 Info and Reservations
- When: March 5, 2026, 8:00 p.m.
- Where: People’s House in Settignano (Florence)
- Contribution: Participation in the evening (dinner + screenings) has a minimum cost of €20 per person, in support of the project.
