Increasingly restrictive health regulations are being imposed on companies
WWOOF Italy with its participation in the Rural Seeds Network is part of the Italian Association of Agroecology. Francesca Pisseri, for AIDA, is coordinating the writing of a technical scientific paper on the benefits of ‘grazing for animal health. We got to know Francesca at the last gathering in Rispescia. We reproduce below the message from AIDA with an invitation to participate in a questionnaire. If you have a chicken coop, we invite you to do so.
Dear partners, dear members,
We are writing to help us in the dissemination of this survey to all those entities you know of that favor pasture-based poultry farming as a tool for accelerated regenerative processes in agricultural soils. The survey aims to learn about the realities of pasture-based livestock farming in Italy and facilitate the establishment of a working group that can provide practical tools for biosecurity in livestock farming and initiate agroecological experiments to support a comprehensive, ecosystem-based view of hygiene and health (One Health approach).
We believe its dissemination is essential in the face of increasingly restrictive health regulations being imposed on companies.
Thank you for your cooperation and dissemination,
Kind regards,
AIDA, for the Grazing Herds Working Group.
