“Green Night 2024 is dedicated to Tullia Romani, an emblem of a rural woman “cultivator of peace,” a pioneer of Italian organic farming and a new agricultural culture together with her husband Gino Girolomoni. A heartfelt choice and consistent with the theme of this edition, which matures while the world is in flames and humanity is lost under the bombing in Gaza and in the siege of so many other places. “Land and Peace,” then: land grabbing and exploitation of natural resources as triggers for conflict and war; agriculture, food and dialogue as tools for building new relationships and communities of peace. With a specific focus on the role of women in these processes and the need to also address another issue that has disappeared from public debate, disarmament.” – Tullia and Gino House of Agriculture
