Support for Malles anti-pesticide rebels!
The village of Malles, in the province of Bolzano, is the first European municipality to ban pesticides from its territory.

But the provincial government is trying to stop it: in fact, Bolzano intends to deprive the Municipalities of pesticide competence in order to render impossible any prohibition at local level. Malles’s initiative must be supported if we want the village to reach its goal, thus becoming an example for other municipalities.

To make my contribution, I sent an e-mail to the governor Kompatscher, inviting him to back the ban on Malles and make it a model for the entire province of Bolzano.
